Sacrificial Anodes

Sacrificial Anodes for Cathodic Protection
in conjunction with Deepwater Corrosion Inc.

An introduction

Deepwater Corrosion Services provides zinc and aluminum anodes for cathodic protection, based on any specified dimensions and composition requirements, for any type of offshore asset. We draw from two main foundries, one in each hemisphere, to maintain competitive pricing and lead times for every project. Our primary associated foundry in Houston has an annual capacity of 4200 metric tons, with over an acre of product staging area. PT MPE Deepwater in Indonesia has an annual production capacity of 4000 metric tons, allowing us to handle any size of order. Both facilities are state of the art, built after 2006, to ensure top quality chemical compositions. We produce anodes for offshore structures, pipeline bracelets, piers and pilings, hulls, process vessels / tanks and a wide range of specialty applications.

Anode Replacement Services for Aging Assets
Deepwater specializes primarily in retrofitting existing cathodic protection systems, to extend the life of offshore assets. Sometimes, simply providing the sacrificial anodes is not enough. Traditional methods of replacing depleted anodes on pipelines and platforms are costly and dangerous; using the same sacrificial anodes, we have pioneered new methods of replacing cathodic protection that minimize expenditure, and provide for smart CP strategies for the future.
